Love Thyself
If you can’t love yourself, how can anybody else love you, the good news is God always loves you unconditionally. You must learn to love thyself, be your individual self you were created to be, let God’s love shine through you, learn to forgive and be kind, life is always about learning and true beauty comes from within.
When you feel irritated, just remember they are someone’s loved ones and how you would feel if they were your loved ones. Talk to them, forgive them, show them some love and kindness, be respectful and polite. Sometimes they just continue to annoy you, if you can’t be kind anymore, just walk away and ask God to help them. If you can learn this, you will have more friends than you could ever imagine and a lot less stress.
Remember, everybody wants what you have and you want what they have, (hair style, weight, skin, height, you name it), it’s all a mind thing. Everybody is perfect in their own individual way, the way God created them to be. God created us all perfect and gives us each the freedom to grow and become someone special in our own unique and individual way. Embrace it, love it & love thyself, you will be rewarded with satisfaction and a better quality of life for you and those around you.
What Is Love?
Love can be described as a deep affection, an intense bond, or an overwhelming feeling of attachment towards something or someone. It encompasses a wide range of emotions, from joy and happiness to pain and vulnerability. Exploring the essence of love requires delving into its various dimensions, including romantic love, familial love, and love for humanity.
Romantic love is characterized by passion, desire, and a profound sense of companionship. It involves an emotional and physical attraction that ignites a flame within us, making us feel alive and whole. It inspires acts of kindness, selflessness, and devotion, driving individuals to go to great lengths to express their love for their partner.
Familial love on the other hand, is a deep bond that exists within families. It encompasses the love between parents and children, siblings, and extended family members. Familial love is often characterized by unconditional support, care, and sacrifice. It is a love that transcends time and distance, nurturing and protecting its members. It provides a sense of belonging and security, creating a foundation upon which individuals can grow and thrive. Familial love teaches us the value of relationships and the importance of standing by each other through thick and thin.
Beyond the personal realm, love extends to encompass a broader sense of humanity (Love For Humanity). This form of love is rooted in compassion, empathy, and a genuine concern for the well-being of others. It is the love that drives individuals to help those in need, to fight for justice and equality, and to strive for a better world. Love for humanity breaks down barriers and fosters a sense of unity among diverse individuals, reminding us of our shared humanity and interconnectedness.
Love is not without its challenges. It can be accompanied by heartbreak, pain, and vulnerability. The fear of rejection and the possibility of loss can create anxiety and uncertainty. Yet, it is through these challenges that love reveals its transformative power. Love has the ability to heal, to mend broken hearts, and to bring about personal growth. It teaches us important lessons about ourselves and others, cultivating empathy, forgiveness, and resilience.
Love is not solely an emotion but also a choice—an ongoing commitment to nurture and sustain relationships. It requires effort, patience, and understanding. It demands the willingness to communicate, to listen, and to compromise. Love involves accepting others for who they are, with all their imperfections and flaws. It celebrates individuality while fostering a sense of togetherness.
In a world often filled with turmoil, hatred, and division, love remains a beacon of hope. It has the power to bridge gaps, to overcome differences, and to bring people together. Love has the ability to inspire acts of kindness, to heal wounds, and to create a sense of belonging. It reminds us of our shared humanity and our capacity for compassion.
God created us with a heart, the heart is the central and most important part of our body and life. Without the heart, we can’t live and love. Love is a deep emotion you feel for someone you want to spend your life with, a friend or family member you get along with and sometimes you don’t, even a job, a material thing or yourself. You can find love in anything or any person.
It’s a feeling you feel in your heart, soul and stomach. You can also share it with others, especially if they appear sad or mad. Love is very powerful, it can change a persons attitude, their day, even their life. God asks us to love God and love one another. I know it can be difficult at times to share your love with someone, if they are rude or mean, or if you don’t feel very loving yourself, but it can be uplifting and satisfying if you do. Love can change your life and theirs as well. Do unto others as you wish done unto you.
The first time we feel love is when God breathes air into our nostrils, the second time is when our eyes open and see our mothers love. We were created to love one another, and love our Creator. Unfortunately, as we grow, the world corrupts us and we get sour, irritable, angry and hurtful. We must learn to ignore the negative signals in the world, and that people need our help, they need our love. Do as God created us to do, LOVE!
In conclusion, love is a profound and intricate emotion that defines our human experience. It encompasses various forms such as romantic love, familial love, and love for humanity. Love brings joy, happiness, and a sense of fulfillment, but it also carries vulnerability, pain, and challenges. Love is a choice and a commitment, requiring effort, understanding, and forgiveness. Ultimately, love has the power to transform lives, build bridges, and create a better world!
In war, there is no room for love (Kindness) & In love, there is no room for war (Hatred).
God Says:
Proverbs 10:12
Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs.
Proverbs 19:8
The one who gets wisdom loves life; the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper.
1 Corinthians 13:4-5
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Corinthians 16:14
Do everything in love.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Ephesians 5:1-7 & 29
Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them.
29 After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does for the church
1 John 4:19
We love because He first loved us!
Love is so important, God shares and talks about it all through His book. In fact, it is the 2 most important rules in the the 10 commandments. Love thy God & Love thy neighbors as thyself.
